We are glad you have stopped in to see what we are all about! We are one of the many branches, worldwide, of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, established in 1879, by Mary Baker Eddy. Our branch, Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Phoenix, is located at 1717 W. Northern, Suite 100. We have resumed in person services, but also offer the option to join us online with Zoom. Feel free to contact us via this website or by phone: 602-265-9445. We are eager to meet you and share our love of God, Christ Jesus and mankind.
We are conveniently located near the light rail stop at 19th Avenue and Northern.
Christian Scientists are every day people from all walks of life: businessmen and women, artists, musicians, teachers, computer techs, electricians, and more. We are all followers of the teachings in the Bible and especially those of Christ Jesus. Mary Baker Eddy worked hard to learn and practice the words and works of Jesus and to record what she learned as she studied his life and the lives of the prophets and apostles. We utilize this record, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, along with the Bible, to help us become better followers of Jesus' Christly example -- to heal sin, sickness, and the challenges of living in the 21st Century.
